This little burro lives in a pasture with three or four horses. He catches my eye every time I go to town because he is so much smaller than the horses. I was surprised to see what beautiful markings he has and learned burros have a dorsal stripe and dark mark across their withers forming a cross, as well as the garter marks on their legs. He's been with these horses for years. Nice little companion.
Lovely to see. In England Donkeys (our name for Burros) are often used as companions for horses. I suppose that is how they originally got together to make Mules!
I used to keep a donkey and a horse, they are very good friends. Who also cannot leave the who
