Advent Calendar

This lovely Nativity scene is eldest's Advent Calendar. During Advent when they kids were little we gathered together, lit the candles on the Angel Chimes, read a bit of the Christmas Story, and added a figure. With the addition of the last figure on Christmas Eve we welcomed the Christmas Season. Merry Christmas!

sweet sweet scene. i love adding a figure each day like you all did. i adore advent calendars. we did them as well, but only opening a door to reveal a new picture. i still try to purchase them, but it's not as fun as when the boys were little.
