confusion

Youngest left this behind having upgraded to a more advanced model. When she asked for a bit of help on some exponential graphing and regression formulas, I grabbed it off the shelf full of optimism that help was at hand. Hours and hours and hours later after jabbing at keys and getting error messages I had to admit defeat. However, I do not take defeat easily. So, a few hours more and I finally coerced the devil to give me an answer. It was one I came up with by hand at the beginning. Basically a simple problem (I think?) which I still do not quite understand...I was not cut out to be a math tutor.
Stunning bokeh love the calc keys amazing composition April as for the maths - join the club :)

amazing bokeh and great composition. Love the colour palette

This is an amazing shot April. What did you have in the background to give you that amazing bokeh? I'm the same, maths certainly is not my strong point lol Good on you for trying though :-)

@leanne333 Thank you. That background is a piece of holographic foam board. It's fun, because as you move position the colors change.

@aecasey Oh I have never heard of that before. That's so creative :-) It turned out amazing :-)

Great composition and bokeh

Love the DoF and bokeh. If you are into programming languages then the new(ish) Wolfram language might be useful (particularly for creating charts). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P9HqHVPeik

Something ordinary turned into something extra ordinary - you can't do that with maths... can you?

Like the colourful bokeh, makes a great backdrop to the calculator.

well - at least it did fab as a photo model ;p nicely done!

Well as confusing as your math problem was, your picture is awesome.

Lovely shot.

lovely bokeh colours - nice pov

You have taken a fairly mundane object, given it a new perspective and made an interesting shot. Love the background. Your maths is better than mine because I was lost at exponential graphing!

wonderful

Great, creative shot... cool bokeh! I would be overwhelmed after spending hours and hours on any math problem... good for you!!
March 17th, 2014
Wo, that all sound very difficult, but well done for cracking it and getting this shot out of it.

wonderful capture, love the bokeh. I dread my kids asking me any help with maths, I am utterly useless on that subject!

Well done you for attempting the problem. A great story beautifully illustrated

Love that background and the way it conveys your overcoming the challenge of the keyboard!!
