crabapple blossoms

The crabapple tree is loaded with buds waiting to open. These, low to the ground in a warm, sunny and protected spot, were the first to open. I have pictures of eldest twenty-five years ago under this tree in his little Easter outfit. Now this tree blooms a month later than back then. Seems our winters are getting longer and colder, but signs of spring are finally arriving.
glorious shot... beautiful colors, focus and depth of field... fav
