If I'm awake at dawn it is because I haven't yet gone to bed. I stayed up an extra hour or so this morning in the hopes of seeing the crescent moon and Venus as they passed close by one another in the dawn sky. With a cloudy horizon I had to wait until they had climbed higher in the sky, and even then they played hide and seek with the clouds. Still a lovely sight though and well worth losing a little sleep.
Hey April, I saw this too!!!! What a hoot hey. I am so glad you managed to capture it, it was most certainly a sight to see and a beautiful shot indeed :-)
