Noticed how close Jupiter and Venus were yesterday morning as we were leaving for the airport. It was a beautiful dawn, but no time to stop. Got up early today, as they were at their closest. Not as pretty a dawn, but these two were still fun to look at. The 23rd they will join the crescent moon in a triangle. Hope the sky is clear!
I like the way they are framed by the wires. You've got a juxtaposition of "lesser" light" as represented by the poles and wires, and "greater" but much more distant light as represented by the two planets reflecting the sun.
