Continuing with my get-pushed challenge, here is the "stranger" in my close up challenge. He was gracious, though uncomfortable with the camera there, and very happy when my battery said it had enough of the cold and died. "Good ... good ... good ... open ... good ... good ..." and so on all afternoon. Only a few open cows. There will be calves come spring.
@scareybird Another for my challenge. Because I wanted to stay away from the working area, I used my zoom. People were moving pretty quickly, and I'm not really happy with the focus on this one. I did like his expression, though, and he was the only stranger I encountered.
Nice shot and congrats for stepping out of your comfort zone to get this shot. The lighting and focus are very good, to my eye. He certainly looks like he is concentrating and unaware of you.
April another great shot, again you have captured the light right and produced a really good portrait. Have you enjoyed the challenge ? Struggling with yours as its cold grey and horrid here in London and I am very busy at work so little time to look but not given up yet
@scarybird I am excited to see I can get nice close up candids. My project is definitely lacking in these. It does feel awkward, though, pointing the camera at people when they are going about their work. Husband smoothed the way for me and told them I was working on an assignment. Otherwise I probably would not have stepped outside my comfort zone.
