what lies inside...

My get pushed challenge this week from Jan @macromover was to do a light zorb with background interest. I waited and waited for the frigid temperatures to moderate so I could try something outside, and finally decided to try something indoors. Took several tries to get a nicely shaped orb, but had fun with placement.
@macromover Here is my first attempt at a light orb with background interest. I like doing these indoors!

That is pretty awesome. Like the orb's placement over the open book.

@aecasey Hi April, I'm your get pushed partner for this week! I looked through your photos and Wow! You really have a great grasp of lighting and you are well-versed in all techniques. I am at a loss to issue you a challenge, but I've still thought of something :)

Your challenge is - macro of an insect or bug, with particular emphasis on the eyes. Have fun!

Best wishes.

@lambda Thank you for your kind words. We are in the midst of cold here, but if I can find an insect or bug I will certainly have a go. I love macros.
