For my get-pushed challenge from Marta @whimsicalgrateful ... my first try at adding a Van Gogh twist. I have a real appreciation for all who try the artist challenges! This is my attempt with van Gogh's "Skull of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette." I wish I'd used my 35mm and gotten a better composition. I wish I'd bought a skeleton on sale after Halloween, as the bovine vertebrae don't really fit. I really wish my PSE11 had an oil paint filter. Oh well ... definitely challenging! May try something less macabre in a day or so, but it's the wrong time of year for sunflowers so it probably won't be pretty.
