Husband went out for a bike ride this evening and came home with supper (for him at some future date when I am not cooking). He had startled a pheasant in full spring courting regalia who flew into the power line. I'm sad for the fellow, but his feathers are resplendent! (looks pretty good on black if you have a moment)
