Yes I had one of these last night too April. I never thought to take my camera but it was lovely with all these lit candles in the church.....a very happy Easter.
@happypat I actually snuck this candle home, but will take it back. I did take my camera to church and loaned it to a family that had a baptism. Even with an unfamiliar camera she got a couple of lovely photographs.
Thank-you for your challenge. I like it very much. I've enjoyed your albums also -- particularly love the close up portraits -- and see that you are currently focusing on black and white photographs. How about a portrait that includes the person's full body and also includes a scene?

Very well done.....and, inspirational! I am trying to figure out how I can sneak a few shots in at church during the Easter service Saturday night. The Orthodox Easter is this Sunday, and they always have an interminable midnight service at the church with lots of candles and incense. I would love to be able to set up a tripod, but I suspect that will not be acceptable.... :-((
