icm branch

Deborah challenged me to try some ICM this week. I love ICM, but I've mostly used it with landscapes when I have sunset colors and a wash of snow or wheat across the fields. The weather really didn't cooperate for that this week, but the crabapple tree is glorious with its spring flowers, so I took advantage of the pink. I did bump the vibrancy and saturation to give it an even more abstract feel.
Deborah @debseibly Here is my first attempt at an icm. I haven't done one of these in a long time and it took me awhile to settle on a subject. I've never been very happy when I used it with trees, but decided I'd try a splash of color with the crabapple tree.

I love the vibrant colors, the diagonal and the faint tree impression. Well done. I have posted my response as well. Hope you enjoyed the challenge.

This pic made me look at my drive to work this AM differently (I saw it just before I left the house)
