stop a moment

Spent the afternoon and evening with granddaughter. A whirlwind of activity, but as evening came on she slowed and spent time in quiet play. No longer afraid of pillbugs we sat in the sandbox while she collected little families and let them crawl on her fingers. She wanted photographs of flies, and I had the macro lens on when I caught her here.
nice contemplative portrait...beautiful detail in the eyes

Delightful portrait - her character comes through even though we can't see her mouth :)

I agree, beautiful portrait. Those eyes are so intense. I bet she slept well.

April, truly a beautiful portrait. I really like the composition. And I am now following your project.

April I'm your Get Pushed partner this week. I've just been looking through your pictures and they are amazing. What a beautiful young lady your granddaughter is! How about a double exposure with where the subjects are either similar or have some connection. If you are not happy with that let me know and I'll think of something else.

Such quiet contemplation. Great shot of her...love the bokeh in the background.

@thistle I would love to try a double exposure. I can't do one in camera though, as my camera doesn't have that capability. So, I would have to do something in my PSE. I'm not very good with photoshopping, but I could try. Would that work?
