snowy evening by aecasey

snowy evening

It's beginning to look a lot like .... winter! Granddaughter visited this afternoon, and she couldn't resist a romp in the snow. When she saw the Christmas lights were up she thought it would be fun to turn them on. 'Tis the season .... (well..almost...)
Gorgeous child and image!!! Fav!

So sweet! I saw my former daughter in law who has family in your neck of the woods, April, but I couldn't remember the name of your town! (She just had a quck trip to Scottsbluff). Could you email me the name aof your town (cathie.glennon@gmail.com)? She was really curious!

Interesting combination of her softness against the bright electric bokeh.

Such a sweet shot - I love the softness of it all and the line of golden bokeh! It's almost like it points right at her face - draws attention straight to it.

Love the way your beautiful little granddaughter shows the delight which children take in snow, and which I've rediscovered (to some extent) since I started to photograph the white stuff. The dof and bokeh are gorgeous in this capture. Fav.

This is a darling capture!

I am your get pushed partner this week. For your challenge, capture in the frame something that indicates the real action is taking place

Continued . . . outside of the frame. I hope this will be a fun and acceptable challenge.
