It was cold today. So cold the bubbles were freezing and clouding over before I could get a picture. I only learned that, though, thanks to "10 Kids, One Camera" who kindly shared how she gets her magical frozen bubbles http://365project.org/irishmamacita10/365 . I tried a little later when it was warmer (relatively speaking), and I was able to get the feathery crystals, though I need a lot of practice on composition and lighting to achieve what she does. This was edited in Lightroom and Silver Efex to bring out the crystal patterns.
Love it....even though, I know that I will never get one of those, not unless I move somewhere where there is actually snow on the ground!! Another person here who has done some spectacular frozen bubbles @nicolecampbell....you might want to check her winter months....I think it is summer there now!
This is fantastic! I tried to do this last year and failed miserably. It has finally become cold here and I really hope to do a frozen bubble shot this year!
