camouflaged meadowlark

I was surprised to see a flock of meadowlarks flitting about the pasture. The wind is terrible, and they were keeping near and low. Whether in color or bw, the color of the bird here against the grasses made him hard to see. I took this to Silver Efex where I discovered I don't have to use presets. A whole new world of editing just opened up!
Love this in b/w.

I love how you're done the B & W shot. I've never thought of meadowlarks in that way before.

Very neat looking bird and though he's camouflaged, I think he stands out nicely in this.
