Well, that's the name I learned, though it's real name is a loggerhead shrike. They are pretty little birds with pretty songs and calls and a rather gruesome method of storing food (impaled on sticks, branches, and barbed wire). I read their numbers are declining, though no one knows for sure why. It's nice to know they are still here.
I love the light on it. Great shot.
