the cages we make

This rolled wire made a perfect spot for enjoying the evening sun. I liked how it created a frame for each bird in their separate perches.
Ah, so nicely seen and captured. Lovely image.

love this shot. You are such a master of nature photography. This roll of wire reminds me of a photo I've seen (in National Geographic, maybe?) of bamboo scaffolding somewhere in Asia -- the same ordered confusion of intersecting lines.

April, we're get pushed partners this week. I love looking through your project. As I said, you are a master at photographing nature, especially the birds. I'm in love with all your cats, and your adorable granddaughter. Your challenge this week is to shoot something diametrically opposite. Something that screams modern and man-made. Could be something shiny and new, or whatever you come up with, no cute creatures or rustic scenes :-) You'll get extra points if you can make it architecture, but unless you're heading to Portland or some other big urban center, you may or may not have a chance to do that. How does that sound? I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for me.
