Brett challenged me to "capture industrial-gritty, something not generally seen as the subject of photography." He said this photography "usually involves taking shots of large objects that are difficult to frame. These photographs are generally of products, equipment, machinery, workers, and company officials." This is our feed yard, with one of our employees loading the feed truck. In the background you can see the silage pile, with the grain bins and some corn that is being ground. This was edited in Lightroom and Color Efex.
@shepherdmanswife Yes ... I tried some wide angle ones but really liked the swirl of clouds and wider view from the fish eye. Brett's instructions said I should capture the viewer's attention by making it interesting, attractive, and enticing. It seemed the fish eye did a nice job framing the loader and drawing the eye in.
Congrats on being selected a get-pushed finalist with this fantastic shot! It has the industrial look yet in a pretty way. You aced the challenge! Well done!
