jumping spider

After the freeze comes the inevitable cleanup, so I cut, pulled, and raked the garden today. A few stems of cosmos were allowed to remain, though, when I discovered several jumping spiders still hunting amidst the drying plants. This one went from the bottom to the top and back down again before I got a pose with it looking at me. Love those eyes!
