darner in green

Most darners in our area are either green or blue. While I love the blue of the blue ones, I like the "stained glass" look of the color at the tips of the wings on the green ones.

So beautiful! My daughter claims herself to be the "Dragonfly Whisperer" haha! She does seem to have a knack for them as she always seems lucky enough for them to land right on her finger as she holds it out for them! She used to always check the pool for fallen ones to save! This is such a great shot, showing all it's beauty!
