This young skunk was making the rounds this morning in search of whatever it is that little skunks are looking for. First he stopped in the barn, then over to the cat food dishes. He trotted down the road for a bit, then bounded back, snuffling about in the wet grasses. You can see I caused a momentary cause in his meanderings, but he was just so darn cute, all wet and full of posture. After the photo op he headed out into the field and disappeared into the windbreak. I think he lives in the barn, so I'm sure he'll do the same tomorrow. At least he's a "live and let live" fellow. He basically ignores the dogs and cats, and me, and we basically do the same. Cross your fingers we will all stay unsprayed through the summer and fall.
A very funny capture! Fav. You can keep the cute skunk because last time we had a skunk in our yard, it sprayed our little 5 pound schnauzer and it was lots of drama at 2am! I scooped her up, rushed her to the vet because she was foaming at the mouth...my clothing, the house, my car, and dog all smelled for weeks!
Looks great. As we are paired for the Get Pushed Challenge what about Light Painting. I hope you can return the favour by challenging me to something. Thanks.
He also looks very wet.
