Although I posted an abstract for my challenge earlier this week, it's a gray, wet, dreary day so I got out some paper and had another go at it. I was aiming for curves ... then ended up with hearts. That's ok ... I found I've missed playing with paper so it was fun to rediscover.
This is smashing! My father used to make geometric designs for us when we were children. I learned to do them too, although never as accurate as his. Many years later, I had a go at origami...great fun. A friend's Chinese DIL makes the most delicate and beautiful origami items for family parties etc. VML seeing such traditional pursuits becoming more and more popular. BTW, like your hearty curves ;-)
@lyndamcg Thank you! I used red, yellow, and white paper that I layered, paper clipped, taped, and curved around each other. The light was just a a lamp behind the paper lighting the interior. I shot it on my countertop that is basically black so provides a great reflective surface.
Hi April, for your Get Pushed challenge this week, how about a little light painting? JackieR did a brilliant shot called Spiro Photography and gives the instructions at the bottom of the comments. Does this appeal? If not, I can always come up with another one for you:)
