northy challenged me to "pick a location, stand in one spot and make 24 unique photographs from that spot... you are not to move your feet... report back on the experience and post a collage of some of your favourite images." Well, I'm not one for prolonged standing, so I sat, and I did switch between my macro and zoom lenses, but I stayed put and did not move, other than to swivel about. It was pleasant waiting and watching. It was a quiet, overcast evening, so not much activity but a bit of frost, barbed wire, grasses, and farm animals gave me some variety. May have to try this again, perhaps where there's more activity.
What a great challenge idea! And your resulting images combine to convey such a peaceful sense of place. The kitty walking could be a tiny lion on the Serengeti with its body language.
i missed seeing this earlier in the week... what a lovely pastoral montage! i can imagine that it must get tough to find so many individual shots from just one spot - and i totally would have changed lenses and swivelled about as well... very nicely done!

I also like that every cat thinks they're a tiger. ;)
