icm sign

Wendy challenged me to try a controlled icm "where you could see the original image incorporated into the final result to give it that painterly feel to it." Today I remembered some of the fundamentals for icm, like manual focus and manual settings using the tiny aperture, longer shutter setting, and short, quick movement. Much closer to my challenge I think.
Wendy @farmreporter Closer? Actually used camera movement this time. It was, once again, mid-day, but I tightened up the aperture and played with shutter speed until I could get some blur without a complete blowout.

Cool picture.

This really works well - you have caught the painterly feel perfectly. And yes, the short quick movement has allowed the viewer to know what is captured!
Well done and a FAV!

I just finished my weekend work and I am exhausted!
I will do your challenge to me tomorrow - it will be too late for the competition but I really want to give multiple exposure a go.
Will tag you when I am done!
