American Robin by aecasey

American Robin

National Bird Day ... we do have some hearty songbirds that winter here. There's a few robins, a flicker or two, some downy woodpeckers, along with the juncos, sparrows, and starlings, so winter is not too quiet.
Beautiful shot with wonderful light and tones, fav!

A proud little guy! Great contrast with the natural branches vs the textured twisty wire.

Our robins disappear over winter but are wonderful harbingers of spring.
I like the light shining full on him ... and he probably likes the warmth it is casting!

Beautiful! They look quite different from the robins I know. Well captured, you gave him enough space to look into.
