The kits were out playing in the sun so I stopped and watched for awhile. They are not at all afraid of vehicles and didn't mind me sitting there so long as I stayed quiet. There are three entrances, though they seem to favor just two, and I saw about eight kits playing. What a crew!
Instant fav! Can anything be cuter that these little guys? Except kittens, hehe ;) I would be so happy to meet a fox in real life. This is one of the most wonderful fox photos I've ever seen.
@aecasey -- but I'm worried I'll miss them. It's gotten cold again here after the short burst of warm days we had so I'm not outside much. Maybe I need a webcam!
@jyokota That might be fun! I got my parents two Guardzilla cameras several years ago. One for the back door, one for the front. The little cameras need electricity, and connect through the wifi, but my mom can see if anyone comes to her doors. It shows on her iPad, computer, and phone, as well as my phone. They aren't expensive and have given her a lot of peace of mind. She also is amused by the occasional curious squirrels and cats that have a look because a light turns on when they walk past. I've often wondered if I would enjoy one in my front yard just to see what wildlife comes through at night.
@aecasey I'm going to look up the possibility right now - I wonder how I can run electricity to the area though . . it's in the middle of the (fenced) garden in the middle of the yard.
I looked it up and for under $100 I can get a weatherproof camera and I think I might be able to see the rabbit hole AND the birdfeeders! Thx for the tip.
