Bit of a documentary shot. We finally broke our sub-zero/single digit temps. Off to town for much needed groceries, and when we returned home there was birdsong in the yard! Grabbed the camera to see who it was, and these eight waxwings were perched in the yard. One shot, and off they went. Still, it was nice to see them. Maybe spring is just around the corner?

@ludwigsdiana I almost always shoot in Av (aperture priority). It lets me set the aperture, and the camera figures the shutter speed and ISO. This was in aperture priority. I had the lens as open as it would go at 5.6 f stop, and fully zoomed in at 300 mm
