I took DIL's 70-200mm to the horse pen. It's a wonderful lens, though it takes some getting used to as it's focus adjustment is where my zoom adjustment is on my 70-300mm, and it's zoom adjustment is where my focus adjustment is. It was a red sun night, so the light is red, and the wind was awful so there wasn't much activity other than avoiding the wind. I wish I'd used a smaller aperture, and I wasn't watching the ears on both horses. Oh well ... I think perhaps I need to stop practicing and just go give my horse shoot a try.
