I'm back on the roof, and the weather is not nearly as pleasant as it was Sunday. Being clever I started at the north end Sunday (I usually start at the south end where the electrical outlets are). I hung three strands, only to find the next day I had started with the wrong end and I can't plug them in. I guess it's good I went back up. The raccoons use the tree next to the house to access the roof, and they had played with the very end, breaking some bulbs and pulling it off the hangers. Anyway, I had to take all three lines down, remove and replace the hangers, and put them back on. This time I also avoided the area the raccoons like to use for access. Maybe now I'm ready for the holidays?
