My get-pushed this was to be inspired by the artist Jane Trotter with her abstracted reality. I was referred to this website: https://www.saatchiart.com/janetrotter
She did a lot of work with oil and water, so I had to try oil and water. I've always struggled with this. Got a few that weren't too bad. The artist has articles talking about her work, and in one she shows her oil and water setup. She used a cd set directly under a pyrex dish of water. I tried the elevated water dish over a background. I think I might try her setup next time I try oil and water.
