It's been years since I've flown a kite, so I am making the most of the WOD and the few minutes of kite flying shared with youngest this evening. Youngest and her older brother used to spend hours and hours having "kite wars." They would take their delta kites, head off to the field north of the windbreak where there were no power lines and the wind blew freely, and play for hours. I've missed vicariously enjoying the fun they had.
