There are no squirrels in my yard, so I only get to enjoy their antics when I go to town. I was parked under some Hackberry trees today where this youngster was frisking up and down the tree with mother. She wasn't too sure about my presence, and quickly scurried back up the tree. Love these members of urban wildlife. They make me smile.
I love watching squirrels - they are very entertaining and I don't know why some people dislike them so much. This one's a lovely colour. My local squirrels are much lighter than this
