After a horribly frustrating afternoon I desperately needed some peace and quiet this evening. Darkness came too soon for outdoor photographs, so I set up the lights and incense to try my hand at smoke photographs. Still haven't gotten the hang of it, but getting a little better. Liked this and another posted here: http://365project.org/aecasey/365/2013-10-16
@bugsy Thank you. I don't have a flash, so I use a light bulb. The light setup is pretty simple, but the camera settings are so challenging. I couldn't use manual. Had to go with using Tv, setting my time, and letting the camera pick the aperture. Not how the tutorials say to do it, but the only way I could even get close.
I like this one best. It almost looks like a mirror image of it's self. I have been meaning to try this for a while. Perhaps I will have to get organized today then I can cross another thing off my bucket list :)

This is a smoke? To shoot a this elusive gas so strange, that's great!
Love it.
