I visited with my sister who showed me how she applies the channel mixer on her infrared images. So, I tried again in Affinity. This image has the red/blue channels mixed to achieve a white balance that would bring out the blue if there were any blue (that's what she does to get blue skies and white greens in her infrared landscapes). I then played with contrast and brightness a little. Just posting this to show the difference between this infrared flower with and without channel mixing.
