The lights on Tilikum were much the same color as during my last visit, and it wasn't a good night for water reflections, so I played with this light installation. It was a very, very long day so rather than walking back over the bridge we rode the TriMet all the way back to within a few blocks of the hotel. Oh ... the iPad? It was located and is waiting for us at the airport. That will be the first stop in the morning before we get ready for graduation ceremonies.
@mcsiegle Yes. There is a beautiful river walk/bicycle pathway that runs along both sides of the river and under the bridges. Tilikum has this reflective installation underneath on both sides which, like the bridge, is lit by softly undulating lights. It's nicely lit for walking or biking under the bridge after dark, and there always seems to be a lot of activity on the walkways at night with bicyclists and walkers. The colors are determined by sensors in the river that measure water temperature, speed and height. I've only seen it predominantly green, but it has been blue, turquoise, yellow, orange, and red, or variations of those.
