Took my bike to the mailbox this morning only to discover I had forgotten to stamp the letters. Drat! Didn't have the inclination, time, or energy to take the ride twice, so the letters will go tomorrow. On the way back, though, I saw that fairy flight of a mantis and just had to find it. This yellow one was in the grass along the roadside. Of course, I left my macro lens at home, but I am finding that some insects are easier to shoot with the zoom lens as they are more likely to stay put for a moment or two. I do find it a bit harder to get the sharpness I can get with my prime macro lens, but guess there's always some give and take.
