Redwing Blackbird

Oh my goodness, I am SO far behind in posting, commenting, participating in any way... New PC up and running at last although still a lot of fine tuning to do.

Anyway, this is not a particularly good image. The bird a mile away, totally underexposed, over-processed to lighten the shadows, not a lot of subject interest. BUT, at least it's an image. Hey, it's even from today!

Enough of the self-dissing, Jenn -- this is a wonderful photo! It's rare to see pictures of birds with their wings spread; not very many people (especially me!) could have captured that instant, and composed it so nicely. And all from a long distance. Uhhh... Miss J, not sure which picture you're talking about but I don't think it's this coolio picture! It's great! And I'm glad these guys are still in the hood! Haven't seen them since we lived in your neck of the woods! Great picture of a beautiful subject :-)
