Why is it for every lunar event we have cloudy skies?! The not-to-be-seen-again-until-2033 event was "eclipsed" by the clouds on the only non-clear night we've had in some time. This was shot during the 60 seconds it was actually visible, way after the blood phase, with the wrong lens and just a guess at focus and exposure. Oh, well. The sunset was beautimous at least!
Well, I like what you captured, especially knowing you only had a 60-second window. I didn't even know about all the hoopla and just happened to see it out the window while theoretically watching a Netflix movie. We had a few errant clouds that moved across it about the same time it was eclipsing, and it looked like the moon was being fractured into several pieces. I do wish you had been here -- you could really have done it justice.
