Silver City is a cool, arty town in New Mexico where the mommster lived. My sister now resides there and while visiting recently, I took a little walk in its historic downtown. With so many wonderful little corners I thought I'd try a little series. Here is the first.
It's good to see you here again- and I'm reading between the lines (I think) and so sad to see the past-tense concerning your mother. I loved her pictures and she was so faithful to comment on mine. Sounds like this is going to be a fun series- good start!
@olivetreeann Yes, aikimomm passed unexpectedly in January of ’23 and is in no small part the reason I left 365 for awhile. Thank you for your kind words, and it’s good to see you again as well!
@aikiuser My heartfelt condolences Jenn- I'm glad you're back. Mom- Phoebe- would never want you to stop your artistic approach to seeing the world around you. She passed on part of herself to you in that way, so I'm glad you're back with camera in hand again after taking the time you needed for reflection and consolation.
