This male cat we spotted was quite a lot larger than the females from before. Soooo beautiful--what an amazing treat!
thats a bit of a cheetah stance there, he's very cute ... how long did you get to photograph them for jenn ?? and how close were they etc? oh, and are they dangerous or anything ?

@taidster Hi Tadii! We were able to watch this particular guy for about 15 minutes before he left. The closest he got to us was maybe 40-50 yards?? He was actually coming TOWARD us for a little while. I guess he may have been used to seeing people as he was on a ranch and not far from the road. As any wild animal can be dangerous if someone gets too close and threatens it, I guess there is some potential for risk. However, they rarely, if ever, attack humans unprovoked and I felt in absolutely no danger whatsoever. They will always run away before attacking. I am very respectful of keeping my distance from wildlife--for their sake more than mine. I am far more wary of snakes! :-D

Looks hungry. lol. So wonderful you were able to find these with a camera in hand. Love the expression you caught!
