Baldies

We started out our Sunday drive by spotting a Roadrunner, which is extremely rare here, but it was too fast for us to get a shot. However, we were thrilled to spot not just one, but TWO Bald Eagles as well (also pretty uncommon in these parts), with a shot to prove it. I mean how cool is that?!

I'm extremely jealous. I saw a bald eagle catch a fish in the Sacramento River this past summer, but was too stunned at what I was seeing to take a picture. Nice capture.
