dude! i was going to post this exact picture (except yours is a zillion times better...). I'm glad I looked before I posted! This looks awesome. Really well done....as always :)
@robinwarner (and anyone else interested) Here's my basic editing technique for this series:
- Three shots, +2, 0, -2
- Initial HDR processing in Photomatix
- In Photoshop, added b/w layer with a bit of sepia tone, to around 66% translucency
- Added Saturation layer, variably increased saturation of separate colors.
- Light Levels adjustment.
- Voila!
Love the colours... again, you are a Master (Mistress??? a Ms???) at processing. That shock of bluey jade is gorgeous with all the grey tones. Gotta fav this one to go with No. 1 I can see them both mounted and next to each other on a wall, though my cottage ain't the best setting !
Good Lord woman, I read how you did it and I'm impressed both with your patience and Photoshops software. My daughter is a graphic designer for the local newspaper, does the online advertising design now, and when friends ask her if she can teach them Photoshop, she answers, "If you have a hundred hours." It's complicated.
Everyone of the mill photos are great. You could print and exhibit them. Hopefully you wouldn't get arrested for trespassing if the local authority viewed the exhibit. Very, very cool.
