Yeah, another dang bird shot. ...and not a very good one at that being an extreme crop and up-sized as the bird was about a mile away (okay, maybe not quite a mile, but really, really far anyway!) I'm actually not even sure how I saw it in the first place, but I liked the branches framing it like that so I snapped away. ...Pixels are free.
Thank you for stopping by! Your comments are always so supportive and I truly do appreciate them all :-)
I really like the framing, too. It's similar to the shot I posted on Oct. 2, one version of which (that I didn't post) I cropped out the second bird on the right. Yours, however, is such a strong image, with the intensity of the bird so evident, and looking in the direction the branches somehow suggest.
Terrific composition. If you had not mentioned, would have thought the graininess was intentional. Works with the processing. Not sure which lens you are using, but canon make extenders which magnify by 1.6x and 2x.
Great shot and you are correct about pixels being free. I've had to retrain myself when it comes to taking photos. I used to be very conservative with the amount of shots I took on any outing, not wanting to waste film. Don't have to worry about that anymore.
Yea... cool.....another dang bird shot. Which I can never get enough. If you are like me, it is like some kind of bird-dar and you zoom right in on one. I love it.
I feel the same way
i snap a million photos when I can
as long as my SD card doesn't run out why not :)
great shot!
