Not sure how I missed posting on this date--oops! Better late than never, so they say. (Does anyone actually know who "they" are?)
A cardiologist happened upon this image a while back and liked it well enough to purchase a print to hang in his offices. I underwent open heart surgery 43 years ago as a child so it was kinda cool to find this out!
@amyspada Heather (@pixelchix) and I used to do art shows when we were less busy. Along with a woefully outdated website, we've sold a little on some microstock companies which is where the doc found this (or rather a previously edited version of same.) Not much moolah for sure, but kinda fun to see where a few images have gone. For instance, the movie "Mall Cop" has one of my images in a scene and another got used for a CD cover design which was kinda cool. I only ever uploaded images I didn't care too much about as really, unless very lucky, the artists are waaaay undercompensated!
