This morning was spent on a sponsored walk, covering 13km around the area to raise money for Oxfam Australia to help eradicate poverty around the world.
This tunnel under a road was part of the trail. There were joggers, cyclists and other walkers - here's some of them speeding along :)
(Every little can make a huge difference to someone living in poverty. Just in case anyone would like to donate a few dollars, here's a link to our fundraising page: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/allie_and_richard)
You know what is interesting about this shot? Before I read your story, I was imagining a bunch of kids walking along (the ones way in the background...the ones ahead on the path) who were being followed by a creepy gang of thuggy kids who would jump them. Haha! I guess I have lived in Atlanta too long! But really, it could be used to tell that story..without your words, you just cannot tell. That is what I love about it.
I think you have the whole tonal scale in this subject which is brilliant by itself. Add too that the story it conveys via use of the low and high key tones and silhouette and shape it really is a great piece of photography. :)
