These tiny roses are in our garden. They're actually bluey-red, but I couldn't capture the colour despited trying every setting on the camera. I edited to up the contrast a bit.
red roses, i find, are hard to capture; they either come out orangey or just a blob of red without any details on them. i read around here that white flowers are difficult ot photograph but i find the red ones, especially roses, to be more difficult. you did a great job here, as the velvety texture of the flowers came out without looking washed out and without losing the shapes of the petals. very well done, alia.
these are gorgeous. i find i am very drawn to blossoms right now, maybe because we have snow falling? just enough to leave a dusting on the ground that blows around, nothing significant. but enough to make it cold. love this. great colors and dof.
Gorgeous!! I've had a challenge getting reds to match what my eye is seeing, too. Is there a "red balance" check similar to a "white balance?" Maybe I should google that!! lol
Excellent rose Alia, you have this mastered. i am sure. Let me tell you that some times i use my flash @ 200th. and the aperture between f16 _ f25. try it.
Just Beautiful Alia..you have captured the petals so clearly..i have found that difficulty with Red Roses also especiially when they are in full bloom...I think this is perfect focus and color! :)..you can see the blue in the other , smaller one..great job~
