Technicolor April - Scarlet

These pencils were scarlet when I took the pic, though now they look like a different type of red! Since I have a complete dearth of scarlet items around the house, these will have to do! Hopefully they'll look different from the red, crimson and ruby pics this month!

Looks pretty close to scarlet for me. It's tricky when you get into the different variations of color. I think even harder to tell when they are separate from one another. At least when they're side by side, you can see the nuances. Nice shot- I like it!

I have to admit to being challenged by scarlet as well - had to ask the interior designers in my office - I've found everyone has a different idea about colour so this has been a great exercise in that metaphorical exploration.........and I think your pencils / crayons meet the brief nicely
