Around the World #8

This tasty lentil curry is from our local take away, but originally comes from which country?

Please also check the pic in my other album today - I'm very proud of it! http://365project.org/alia_801/other-stuff/2013-09-08

It looks very interesting and I'd take a tiny bite because I'm not good with spicy things like curry. We had a fellow that rented a room in our house once who was from Pakistan. He LOVED curry! But I'm jumping on the India bandwagon and saying it's from India.

I'd say India or Pakistan. Looks yummy, I love a good curry.

I am guessing India

If it is curry it must be from India or Pakistan.

@olivetreeann Curry doesn't have to be spicy. I'm not a fan of 'hot' spices and chilli, but a mild combination of turmeric, cinnamon and a few other 'flavour' spices can be very yummy!

@alia_801 You are right there. I think I am influenced in the wrong direction by said former renter who thought 1 tsp=1 jar. The whole house would smell of it after he cooked.

Bev
I am going to guess that since it's curry, that it represents India, but then I am no good with things like this because I've never traveled and I've never eaten anything except Chinese, Italian or Mexican take away.
