Possum in the bathtub

We'd been hearing noises in the roof for a few days, then suddenly we heard a crash from another room. Other Half went to investigate, came back and said "That possum we've been hearing in the roof... it's in the bath!". Possum had fallen through a ceiling vent into the tub. We managed to get it into one of the girls' old travel crates, then on advice from wildlife people made a delivery to the local reserve, where possum seemed happy to go adventuring up the nearest tree.

I can't imagine how surprising that must have been for both you and the possum! Our possums look very different from yours. They have long tails, are mostly white and small ears. Little beady eyes too. I'm glad he's got a new (and more appropriate) home.
